Democracy Under Attack: Fact vs. Fiction with Author David Pepper
Mon, Apr 8, 7:00pm-8:00pm
RSVP HERE
About this event:
Concerns over threats of political violence and election interference are surging in advance of the 2024 election, haunting American democracy. Join us and special guest author/activist David Pepper for a lively conversation drawing upon both fictional events and real-world scenarios as we plan for what will likely be a contentious election and learn how you can help protect democracy and support free and fair elections.
David Pepper is a lawyer, writer, political activist, former elected official, and professor, and served as the Chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party between 2015 and 2021, where he was engaged in litigation over voter suppression and election laws in the Buckeye State. He is the author of Laboratories of Aristocracy and his latest book, Saving Democracy: A User’s Manual for Every American, as well as has written five novels that merge real-world politics and fiction. The Wall Street Journal named Pepper “one of the best political-thriller writers on the scene.”
