Planning a Bloodbath? Check Out The Dictators’ Top Ten List.

“Trump predicts ‘bloodbath’ if he loses election”

Trump predicts ‘bloodbath’ if he loses election and claims ‘Biden beat Obama’ in elections that never took place…

We just have to win this election, because he’s even predicting a bloodbath. What does that mean, he’s going to exact a bloodbath? There’s something wrong here. How respectful I am of the American people and their goodness, but how much more do they have to see from him to understand that this isn’t what our country is about?” – Nancy Pelosi in The Guardian

What is a bloodbath? How have others been executed? Machetes? Plastic Bags? Poison Gas? Which tyrant killed the most people? Check this infographic.

Tyrants dehumanize people to justify bloodbaths

“Trump gave a freewheeling speech in which he used dehumanizing language to describe immigrants, maintained a steady stream of insults and vulgarities… Trump used incendiary and dehumanizing language to cast many migrants as threats to American citizens… “I don’t know if you call them ‘people,’ in some cases,” he said. “They’re not people, in my opinion.” He later referred to them as “animals.” – NY Times

Dehumanization lets us harm other people

“Thousands of years ago, humans would have felt a pang of anxiety when they saw the silhouette of a foreign tribe marching over a hill. We still have that anxiety inside of us today. Often “people’s spontaneous, knee-jerk reactions to other people who are dramatically different from them is negative,” says Susan Fiske, a psychologist at Princeton University and a leading expert on prejudice. This is especially true when we have quick, minimal exposure to them — as we do today via the media. These thin slices activate the us-versus-them conflict encoded in our minds since the dawn of humanity.

“Dehumanization doesn’t only occur in wartime,” says Nick Haslam, a psychologist who is the world’s current leading expert on the topic. “It’s happening right here, right now. And every day, good people who don’t see themselves as being prejudiced bigots are nevertheless falling prey to it.” – VOX

It’s gonna be a bloodbath

“Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath. That’s going to be the least of it. It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country,” Trump said, without clarifying what he meant. – The Guardian

“One candidate is too old and mentally unfit to be president. The other one is me,” said President Biden. “Don’t tell him. He thinks he’s running against Barack Obama, that’s what he said referring to several previous occasions when the 77-year-old Trump was confused.

TakeAway: Vote to protect American democracy against threats of bloodbaths. Vote for President Biden and Democrats.
