BADASS Briefings, March 7, 2024

Dear Friends,

Democracy calls upon each of us to stand up, speak up, and act up every day to protect our rights and freedoms. On the March 8, 2024 Friday Power Lunch, we will speak with three people who make bold moves every day to safeguard Democracy and make the nation a better place for everyone. Please join us.

We have one important Call to Action to take, which will go to members of the House and Senate budget conferees. Is there a CTA directed to the Budget Conferees that you would like to see? Let me know.

Hope to see you, Katherine at Tim Kaine’s State of the Union event this evening.

Boldly,

Stair

PS: If your name isn’t correct, or you are receiving more than one email, please correct.

Call to Action: Protect our environment, invest in Soil & Water Conservation Districts

Soil and Water Conservation Districts are a critically important resource in the Commonwealth regarding the implementation of science-based, research proven, nonpoint source programs to help accomplish water quality improvement goals established by the General Assembly and the Administration. Districts have proven to be the most cost-effective means of accomplishing these water quality goals and require adequate funding to support these efforts. Ensure budget conferees are aware of this important work and investing at needed levels. Please take this call to action now.
