- SUPPORT BILLS THAT PROTECT NATIVE AMERICAN RIGHTS. S 3186/HR 6148, The Advancing Tribal Parity on Public Lands Act would increase protection for public lands that are also the home to tribal sacred sites and require consultation with tribal governments before the land could be sold to private developers. The Tribal Cultural Areas Protection Act (S 3185/HR 6147) would provide the same protections for tribal cultural areas as there currently is for national parks. Let’s tell our MoCs that we support these important steps toward greater Native American rights and we want them to co-sponsor these bills and to work to bring them to the floor for a vote and pass them.
- THE CURRENT COVID-19 VACCINE IS EFFECTIVEIn her Covid-19 Research Roundup, Your Local Epidemiologist Katelyn Jetelina informs us that:
- The current vaccine is 70% effective against hospitalization

The organization Activate America has created an opt-in messaging bulletin called Amplify. When we sign up, we’ll receive talking points, images, and other well-referenced information we can share on social media to inform ourselves and others about the accomplishments of Biden and the Democratic party.
