  • WIN BACK THE HOUSEThis November, every House seat will be up for election, giving Democrats a chance to retake the majority. Swing Left’s Win Back the House campaign has already been hard at work, identifying districts where we can make the most impact and contributing to election campaigns early. As election year swings into gear, let’s help build momentum to flip the House by using the graphics in Swing Left’s “Share on social” section along with the hashtag #WinBackTheHouse on social media. We can use the sample text they provide, or personalize our messages as we encourage others to get involved and turn the House blue.
  • STAMP PRICES GOING UP JANUARY 21There will be lots of postcarding and letter writing in the coming months.  Postal rates are going up again, including the price of Forever stamps, on January 21.  At that time, letters will be 68-cents (up from 66-cents) and postcards will be 53-cents (up from 51-cents).   Those of us who plan to write postcards to voters this year, or to write letters to voters with Vote Forward, may want to consider stocking up before the price increase kicks in.  Let’s make sure to purchase as many as we can at the current prices before they go up.  We can get them at our local post office or we can purchase Forever postcard stamps here and Forever First-Class letter stamps here.
