Today is the third anniversary of Donald Trump trying to overthrow American democracy, and we remain in grave danger of losing our right to pick our leaders.
It’s also the third anniversary of Josh Hawley running away like a coward after egging on the rioters and doing Trump’s bidding to spread his unpatriotic lies about winning the election.
Hawley is up for re-election in 2024, and the whole country is counting on Missouri to vote him out and send a strong message that the American people do not tolerate cowards willing to betray their oath of office and break over 200 years of American democracy.
Instead of being remorseful for his betrayal of American values, Hawley continues to utterly embarrass himself by cowardly doing whatever Donald Trump tells him to do.
Defeating Hawley goes beyond politics because the existence of democracy in America is not a partisan issue — it cuts to the soul of who we are as a people.
