Throughout his term, Trump promised to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act — which hundreds of thousands of Missourians rely on for health coverage — but never had a plan to do it. He tried and failed, thankfully, because repealing the Affordable Care Act would have devastating effects on millions of families across the nation.
But now, Trump is at it again, and we know that his Republican cronies in the House and Senate will do whatever they can to rip healthcare away from Missouri families — including Senator Josh Hawley.
As Attorney General, Hawley joined a Republican lawsuit seeking to overturn the Affordable Care Act and rip away protections for people with preexisting conditions. It’s disgusting.
We know Hawley will do whatever he can to empower Trump and support his efforts to overturn the Affordable Care Act, so we need to fire him next November.
