Since 2015 when Donald Trump walked down that escalator, we have endured his many crimes. Now, finally he is being held accountable. In multiple jurisdictions he has been charged with crimes against the American people and for violating his oath to the constitution. He called to “lock her up” when he accused Hillary Clinton of the very same (but worse) crimes he has committed. He clearly engineered a coup in 2020 and now he must face the music. Republicans will continue to defend him but don’t buy it. He is cooked!
Becoming President of the United States Might Turn Out to Be the Worst Thing That Ever Happened to Donald Trump!
When the charges filed by DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith in United States of America v. Donald J. Trump are proven to be true, they will expose Donald Trump as a sick, perverted, evil, dangerous, maniacally deranged, and deeply narcissistic human being who should never again hold any office of public trust. Once convicted by a jury, Trump should serve a lengthy prison sentence for his premeditated and extensive attempts to overturn our votes to keep himself in power.
Throughout his political campaigns and presidency, Trump tried to get rid of everyone who did not pledge their complete loyalty to him. In May 2017, Trump fired FBI Director Jim Comey for not publicly confirming that the FBI was not investigating Trump for conspiring with Russia, while claiming that Comey was fired for not being an effective leader. During his presidency, Trump fired more than two dozen people who failed to obey his every whim. When Vice President Mike Pence wouldn’t ignore the U.S. Constitution and try to block the presidential election certification at Trump’s insistence, Trump was complicit in his supporters’ calls to “hang Mike Pence”. Doesn’t that remind you of the actions of authoritarian dictators such as Saddam Hussein in Iraq, Vladimir Putin in Russia, and Xi Jinping in China?
“Ruler of America for Life” Wannabe
Trump’s efforts to become “Ruler of America for Life” included losing 63 court appeals in November and December 2020, and falsely contesting election processes, vote counting, and the vote certification process in multiple states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. All those courts told Trump to “pound sand”! One judge was quoted as having said: “They want this court to substitute its judgment for two-and-a-half million voters who voted for Joe Biden… And this I am unwilling to do.”
Trump was repeatedly informed that he had lost the presidential election
The number of Republican allies who informed Trump that he had lost the 2020 presidential election is stunning. They include, among others: his hand-picked Attorney General Bill Barr, and Directors of National Intelligence, Homeland Security, Cyber Security, and Infrastructure Security, as well as senior White House attorneys and staffers on his 2020 re-election campaign – including his daughter. All these people desperately wanted Donald Trump to win, yet no matter what evidence was placed before this authoritarian, he was determined to refuse to relinquish power. Some people were so concerned by his actions that they resigned and walked away before the peaceful transfer of power to Joe Biden was to occur.
Trump lost all his court appeals trying to stay in power
When all 63 court filings failed, Trump unleashed his right wing networks and violent hate groups to help devise other plans to keep him in power – as the first President to EVER fail to concede defeat in an election in our 247 years as a representative democracy, and therefore the first President to ever disrupt the peaceful transfer of presidential power. Let that sink in. Trump’s villainous actions on January 6, 2021 incited a murderous mob of 10,000+ Trumpkins from all over the country, armed with tasers, bear spray, poles, fire arms, and a noose to “hang Mike Pence” for not doing what the U.S. Constitution did not give Pence the power to do – all to keep Cult Leader Donald Trump in office. We must remember Trump’s many despicable actions while in power, such as imprisoning kids in cages, promoting drinking bleach to cure Covid, and giving hugs to North Korean “Supreme Leader” Kim Jong Un and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Trump’s many co-conspirators
Trump kept company with co-conspirators such as former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, whose law license has been suspended for making dangerous, false claims of voter fraud prior to the January 6th attack on the Capitol, and former Trump attorney and conspiracy theorist Sidney Powell, who tried to claim that former Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez controlled voting machines, despite Chavez having died years before. Powell falsely claimed that Dominion Voting Systems machines switched Trump votes to Biden votes, reiterated by “Fox Noise”, resulting in Fox having to settle a lawsuit by Dominion for $787 million to avert an expensive and embarrassing defamation trial over Fox’s 2020 election lies.
Authoritarians abound
Trump’s attempts to become an authoritarian are not over and his efforts to keep power for himself are not new. Republicans’ “all of us march in line” movement became prominent in 1994 with Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America”. This movement has been carefully orchestrated by wealthy Republican strategists, and well-funded by their corporate overlords who want zero regulation limiting their profits and power. They are determined that the United States should become a corrupt, authoritarian regime like those in the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Cuba, Belarus, and of course, Russia. If we want to keep and expand our U.S. freedoms instead, we need to do all we can to deny Trump a second presidential term.
Democrats are improving our lives;

to distract us while they try to take away our freedoms
There are two major parties in the United States – the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. During the current Biden-Harris Administration, elected Democrats have worked strategically and passed legislation signed by President Biden that already is at work rebuilding neglected infrastructure in our cities, delivering high-speed internet to rural communities so that kids are not forced to do their homework in fast-food parking lots, and funding the fight against climate change.
Only one major political party gives a hoot about democracy and about what our country needs to do to improve the lives of Americans. Democrats want to enact laws to protect our freedoms while Republicans promote looney conspiracy theories about the supposed “Biden Crime Family”, a projection of the Trump family’s Mob-like behavior onto one of their chosen/perceived enemies.
To try to divide and conquer, Republicans are targeting LGBTQ+ and transgender people, the Jewish and Muslim communities, teachers, librarians, journalists, science, and history. This is how authoritarian regimes try to gain power. Republicans want to “Teach the masses only what power wants the masses to know” and “Take away rights and freedoms from the masses – over time.”
