As a former member of Congress, what we’ve witnessed the last few weeks by House Republicans is appalling. The GOP’s inability to lead brings chaos to Congress that directly affects what gets done for you and your family and impacts how we as a nation can respond during an international crisis.
By ousting their own speaker, Republicans have brought a never-before-seen chaos to the House that has paralyzed Congress for the last two weeks. And they still haven’t elected a new Speaker.

The American people deserve a functioning Congress that delivers for working families — and it’s clear that Republicans can’t and won’t get the job done. We need to ensure we have the resources to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2024 to take back control of the House and get back to getting the work done. And we need your help.

Republican Chaos Has Conservative Media Fuming.
It’s Their Fault It Happened.

GOP candidate for Missouri attorney general
joins Trump’s legal team in Jan. 6 case
A Republican candidate for Missouri attorney general will help former President Donald Trump appeal a recent gag order imposed on him in his upcoming trial over his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Will Scharf, a former assistant U.S. Attorney from St. Louis, has joined Trump’s appellate team, a Trump campaign spokesperson confirmed.
The decision to join Trump’s team comes as Scharf, a Republican, is mounting a primary challenge to Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey in 2024. Scharf also served as policy director in former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens’ brief administration.
