“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” – Barack Obama
Local Majority isn’t waiting. The nonprofit has volunteers aged from 23 to 90 years and gives them the opportunity to volunteer their skills and passion in service of democracy. Volunteers collect and analyze information, prepare research studies tailored to local issues for campaigns. Local Majority serves as a personal research department to Democratic campaigns for state legislatures. Candidates run smarter campaigns and administer better even when they don’t have they don’t have their own experts.SUPPORT Local Majority
Local Majority is currently working on Virginia to help flip the entire Legislature to a Democratic majority. It’s working hard to retain state Senate control and to flip back the state House of Delegates. “Only three seats are needed to flip in the House. Glenn Youngkin, Governor and the Republican majority of this purple state have been very busy trampling on voting rights, education, worker’s rights, criminal justice reforms, LGBTQ+ rights, and much more.” Here are some of their recent research papers.
