This Independence Day, Fight for Democracy!
Dear Lancaster County Democratic Party,
I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits as we approach Independence Day – a day when we celebrate our freedom and reflect upon the strength of our democracy. I am thrilled to invite you to our upcoming meeting this Thursday, July 6 on Zoom, which presents a unique opportunity to uphold and further the democratic ideals we hold dear. This isn’t just any meeting – it’s a platform for us to be proactive, participate in rich discussions, and shape our party’s journey forward. We are incredibly honored to have as our special guest Melissa Horton, the president of our Lancaster NAACP unit, an esteemed voice in civil rights and democracy. She’ll be sharing her invaluable insights on the critical role we each play in strengthening our democracy and forging a better future for all. What’s more? This is your chance to ask questions directly; a golden opportunity to engage with the broader democratic dialogue in our county!
