We believe that by bringing together community leaders, organizations, and individuals, we can create a network of support and resources that will help drive progress and make Oakland County an even better place to live, work, and raise a family. We will work to identify and support local initiatives, organizations, and individuals who are making a real difference in our community.

OCDP Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee: April Meeting

Thursday, April 27th (6:30pm – 8:00pm) The objective of the OCDP DEI committee is to build bridges of mutual respect and understanding among cultural groups in Oakland County and the surrounding areas. The recent employee shooting in Louisville, KY was the 146th mass shooting of 2023. • 4,686 deaths• 65 children killed• 383 teenagers killed• 922 teenagers injured In addition, there have been 363 incidences of gun violence at Walmart since 2020. Hence, the meeting will focus on gun violence and gun safety.

We will be welcoming special guests: Karen D. MCDonald, Prosecuting Attorney, Oakland County, MI Ann Anderson, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America

OCDP Celebrates Juneteenth!
