Sen. Feinstein: Resign
On Friday, Indivisible Yolo joined more than 60 progressive groups representing more than 100,000 Californians asking Sen. Feinstein to resign so that we can regain our representation in the Senate. During Sen. Feinstein’s absence, Democrats no longer have a majority on the Judiciary committee. MAGA extremists are blocking judicial appointments and preventing ethics investigations of the Supreme Court (even after Clarence Thomas was caught accepting luxury trips and other extravagant gifts from a billionaire). We’re asking Sen. Feinstein to step down so Gov. Newsom can appoint a replacement. We’ve seen what happens when MAGA fanatics are allowed to reshape the judiciary unchecked and we can’t afford to sit this one out.

Sen. Feinstein: Resign
- Sen. Feinstein: 415-393-0707 (SF) 202-224-3841 (D.C) (email)
Example call script (your own words are best!):
Hi, my name is [your name] and my zip code is [zip code]. I’m a voter and a constituent of [Sen. Feinstein] I’m calling to thank Senator Feinstein for her exemplary service, but also to ask, with great respect and affection, that she resign from the Senate so that Governor Newsom can appoint a replacement. MAGA Republicans have weaponized the judiciary. We can’t afford to sit this one out- we need to have representation in the Senate and on the Judiciary Committee. Thank you.

MAGA default crisis: say NO to hostage takers
- Sen. Feinstein: 415-393-0707 (SF) 202-224-3841 (D.C) (email)
- Sen. Padilla: 916-448–2787 (Sacramento) 202-224-3553 (D.C.) (email)
Contact just your own Representative:
- Rep. Thompson (530) 753-5301 (Woodland) (202) 225-3311 (D.C) (email)
- Rep. Matsui (916) 498-5600 (Sacramento) (202) 225-7163 (D.C.) (email)
Example call script (your own words are best!):
Hi, my name is [your name] and my zip code is [zip code]. I’m a voter and a constituent of [Sen. Feinstein/Sen. Padilla/Rep. Thompson/Rep. Matsui]. I’m asking the [Senator/Representative] to tell their Republican colleagues to stop threatening to create a crisis and sink our economy if we don’t give in to their demands. Will the [Senator/Representative] commit to demanding a clean debt ceiling increase without giving an inch to MAGA hostage takers?

Join us for the first of these virtual fundraisers on Thursday, May 4th, 5:00 – 6:00 PT for an inspirational conversation with CVM and four outstanding community-based organizations from California’s Congressional district 22. ALL donations raised go directly to the Central Valley groups that they vet and support.
Indivisible Yolo’s goal is to raise $5,000 to contribute to matching funds for CVM, knowing that Yolo County is choosing the most effective strategy to achieve a Blue Trifecta in 2024. And if you can’t attend the virtual fundraiser on May 4, you can use this ActBlue link.

Indivisible Yolo endorsed Francesca Wright because she is a proven leader and results-oriented activist with a strong commitment to address racial inequities in Davis and Yolo County. The campaign is in full swing now; to volunteer or donate to “Wright for Davis”, please go to Francesca’s website at: www.WrightforDavis.org
If you’d like to join the phone banks Wednesday @ 4PM or Saturday @10 AM, here is the Zoom link: https://zoom.us/meeting/82187865480. Training will be provided.
