Indivisible Yolo on Climate Restoration
Simply reducing fossil fuel emissions is not enough. We need to start thinking beyond mitigation, adaptation and resilience to climate restoration. We can and must restore CO2 to levels that humans have survived long-term. Net-zero is important, but the UN goal of achieving it by 2050 is insufficient.
The IY Local Climate Action team is working with local climate allies, Yolo Citizens Climate Lobby, Ocean Iron Fertilization Alliance and Cool Davis, to bring author Peter Fiekowksy to Davis on April 13.
Join us at 7PM at the Davis Community Church to hear author Peter Fiekowsky tell us about the movement to restore pre-industrial CO2 and the climate by 2050 using existing natural methods and available finance.
