Today we honor those who fought to protect democracy and defend the Constitution.

On January 6, 2021, men and women battled at the United States Capitol to ensure the safety of our Elected Officials. They made a herculean effort of bravery and courage to have the Electoral College vote count.

I thank all the brave souls who risked their lives in danger and never wavered as they protected the sacred right of our vote. They are the real stars of this country.

Never to be forgotten!

Democratically yours,
