Happy Tuesday, Friends—

If you are anything like us, election results are still sinking in. We’ve confirmed two exciting speakers for the Keystone Research Center and PA Budget and Policy Center’s 25th anniversary campaign launch to add perspective and clarity to what happened and where we go from here. We are pleased to announce Kadida Kenner, CEO of the New Pennsylvania Project, and Rep. Sara Innamorato of the 21st legislative district representing parts of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area, are joining the celebration and will share their insights.

Join the festivities and celebrate the belated 25th anniversary of Keystone Research Center and Pennsylvania Budget and Policy Center next Tuesday, December 13. We’ll be at the Hilton Harrisburg from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. enjoying plenty of hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, good company…and our aforementioned speakers!

Our fundraising campaign aims to build on our last 25 years of work and secure a strong future of progressive research and policy advocacy in the Commonwealth. KRC has advocated for an inclusive, high road economy since their inception in 1996. Today, we’re heartened to see a new wave of union organizing efforts that could restore post-World War II levels of economic equity and upward mobility. But well-financed players are also working hard to undermine democracy and enact policies that could lock in economic inequity for the long term. The future of our state hangs in the balance. Now more than ever, it’s time to unify Pennsylvanians around an economy that works for all of us, not just the 1%.

We hope to see you on the 13th!

– Marc, Viv, Jay, and the entire team at KRC/PBPC and We The People – PA
