My first touch with Roanoke was in the late ’60’s, as my family joined hands with Linwood Holton, his children and later our Senator, Tim Kaine. Did you know that Governor Holton coined Virginia is for Lovers?
Roanoke City has been the reliably blue dot in a sea of red, west of the Blue Ridge. Yet this year they face a new challenge! Republicans have fielded a full slate of candidates who are raising unprecedented amounts of money to spread disinformation. They are joined on the ballot by a set of independent candidates who talk more like Republicans while spreading the falsehood that they are Democrats.
Let’s ALL protect this progressive beacon in western Virginia with the resources to properly
inform voters of who the real Democrats are, and why retaining Democratic control of city council matters. The Roanoke City Candidates have consistently stood together, and have created a joint campaign fund,The ForRoanoke PAC. Please give as much as you can to support our blue beacon.
