Women’s Rights Committee: Monthly Meeting

Monday, September 12th (5:30pm – 7pm)

OCDP’s Women’s Rights Committee is gearing back into action with our new Chair, Corinne Shoop. Join us on September 12th to welcome Corinne, and every second Monday from 5:30PM – 7PM to continue the vital discussions surrounding women’s rights and reproductive freedom.

Rochester Area Democratic Club: Annual PicnicSunday, September 18th (1pm – 4pm)The RADC is continuing its tradition of an Annual Picnic for RADC members and Friends. There will be many special guests attending. The RADC is a potluck! After registration, an email will be sent to you with the location and a sign-up to let us know what you would like to bring. See you on the 18th!

Oak Park/Huntington Woods/Royal Oak Township Democratic Club: Monthly MeetingThursday, September 15th (7pm)Please attend our September 15 meeting starting at 7 p.m. in the Huntington Woods Library, Lower Level in person or on Zoom. We will be hearing from the MDP Election Protection Director on their need for election day volunteers. Also, we will hear from several of our State and University Board of Education Candidates.

Women’s Rally by MDP/OCDP

Thursday, October 6th (5pm – 7pm)

The Michigan Democratic Party is teaming up with the Oakland County Democratic Party to host a local Women’s Rally on Thursday, October 6th, 2022. Come out to show your support for women’s rights and the Reproductive Freedom for All ballot initiative. Join us at 555 Horace Brown Dr. in Madison Heights from 5pm-7pm.

THE OAKLAND COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY HAS NOT ENDORSED ANY CANDIDATES FOR THE UPCOMING GENERAL ELECTION. ANY CANDIDATE EVENTS LISTED ARE FOR THOSE ENDORSED BY THE DNC AND/OR MDP, AND/OR DECLARED DEMOCRAT.

Help Rep. Brenda Carter celebrate her birthday and work towards reelection!

Central Oakland Meet, Greet & Fundraise

Wednesday, September 14th (5pm – 8pm)

This event is for Oakland County voters to meet, greet and fundraise for their candidates. Participating campaigns include candidates for State House and Senate, US Congress, County Commission, and more.
