NORTHAMPTON, PA — On Thursday, August 25th at 6:30 PM, 99% PA Action will hold a town hall at the Northampton Public Library to discuss Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick’s record of standing with corporations over the constituents he was elected to represent.
While the working people of this first congressional district have struggled as a result of skyrocketing prices for essential goods like gas, groceries, and prescription drugs, some of the country’s largest corporations have been raking in record profits. And Rep. Fitzpatrick has voted to help those corporations continue to rig the economy against the rest of us. Most recently, Rep Fitzpatrick voted against the Inflation Reduction Act, a landmark bill recently signed into law by President Biden that will lower costs for working people, rein in corporate greed, and ensure that corporations pay their fair share in taxes.
99% PA Action has invited Rep. Fitzpatrick to join our town hall and explain his record for himself — but whether or not he shows up, this town hall will be a space to get the facts on Rep. Fitzpatrick’s record and discuss key issues facing our community.
