Join us online or in-person, this meeting we will be hearing from Joel Batterman of Transportation Riders United, talking about the brand new Countywide Mass Transit initiative that the Oakland County Commission has put on the ballot for November. We will also be hearing from Natalie Price who is the Democratic Nominee for District 5. Arts, Beats & Eats with AG Dana Nessel

Friday, September 2nd – Monday, September 5th (multiple times)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to supervise the OCDP table at Arts, Beats & Eats! Join the Oakland County Democratic Party and Attorney General Dana Nessel’s team for four days of fun in Royal Oak. Volunteers will receive t-shirts, stickers and a chance to see our Attorney General. Now featuring Moms Demand Action!

The Labor Day Parade in Detroit has been canceled. The OCDP will be at Arts, Beats & Eats to celebrate Labor Day and encourage you all to join us as volunteers or visitors!

The 61st Annual Phil Hart Dinner Friday, September 9th (Receptions begin at 6pm)Please join the Oakland County Democratic Party for our 61st Annual Phil Hart Dinner on Friday, September 9th, 2022. The dinner honors the legacy of the late U.S. Senator and lifelong Oakland County resident Phil Hart, who became known as the “Conscience of the Senate” during his 17 years in congress. This year we are especially privileged to have guest speaker Hon. Bennie Thompson (MS-2), Congressman and Chairman of the Select Committee to Investigate the Jan 6th Attack. The Bayer campaign is hiring field fellows to help us implement our voter contact program. Join Sen. Rosemary Bayer’s campaign & help reelect a proven champion of education, reproductive rights, equality, & environmental protection. We’re looking for motivated people who are passionate about advancing democratic values and are fired up and ready to work hard. Must be skilled at and comfortable with voter contact, primarily via knocking doors. This is a part-time position and the pay is $15 an hour. If you want to be part of flipping the Michigan Senate blue in 2022, apply today! And if you know someone who might be interested, by all means pass this opportunity along.
