OCDP’s Annual General Membership Picnic

Each year the Oakland County Democratic Party gathers its General Membership to report on our progress and prepare our party for upcoming elections. Please join us on July 31st, two days before the Michigan Primary Election, to reorganize and recharge with your fellow OCDP Members. Catering and refreshments provided. Attendees MUST REGISTER on Mobilize.

Oak Park-Huntington Woods-Royal Oak Township Dems Club: Post-Primary Unity Picnic

Join us at our annual summer picnic, where we will all come together following the August 2 primary races. We will be honoring retiring Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence to thank her for her 30 years of public service, including as Southfield school board member, councilwoman and mayor, as well as her four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Haley Stevens for Congress: GOTV Canvass in Southeast Oakland County

Saturday, July 30th – Tuesday, August 2nd (9am, 12pm, 3pm and/or 6pm start times)

Come knock doors with the Haley Stevens campaign team on July 30 through August 2 as we canvass in Royal Oak, Ferndale, Clawson, and Madison Heights. With the election closer than ever, we need all hands on deck to engage with the 11th district community! If you don’t know how to canvass, no problem. You will be trained on site; it is a very simple process. Shifts will begin at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, and/or 6pm each day. We look forward to seeing you there!

Natalie Price for State Representative: Election Day Poll Greeters & Watch Party

Tuesday, August 2nd (Multiple times available)

Spend Election Day with #TeamPrice! Sign up for a shift (or two!) at the polls, and then sign up to celebrate the team’s efforts during our post-election watch party. Poll-Greeting Shifts: 7:30-10:30am; 10:30am-12:30pm; 12:30pm-2:30pm; 2:30-4:30pm; 4:30-6:30pm; 6-8pm. The post-election watch party will take place at Berkley Coffee at 8pm-10pm and feature live music from talented friends of the campaign. Snacks and lemonade will be provided, and a wide selection of non-alcoholic beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for purchase. All volunteers, donors, endorsers, and friends are invited!

We are looking for multitasking gurus with strong interpersonal, communication and data skills who have vast networks in the suburbs of metro Detroit, Grand Rapids, East Lansing, or Midland/Bay City. You’ll be recruiting suburban women volunteers to participate in our relational organizing program; planning and scheduling recruitment events, house parties, virtual events and informational sessions; and training and motivating volunteers.
