West Bloomfield Dems Club: Juneteenth

Saturday, June 18th (10am – 2pm)

Volunteers are still needed! 

Join West Bloomfield in Commemorating National Freedom Day by volunteering or simply stopping by. A free, fun, family-friendly event. Juneteenth honors the day the final enslaved people were emancipated in June 1865 and celebrates the countless contributions of African Americans to our community & nation. Music, arts, performances, refreshments, vendors and storytelling. Kids area, African Dance, WBHS Jazz Band, and more. Reproductive Freedom for All: Petition & Volunteer


Please support the ballot initiative to codify reproductive freedom by signing or circulating the RFFA petition. To qualify for the November 2022 ballot, Reproductive Freedom for All (RFFA) must collect 425,059 valid signatures BY JULY 11TH from registered Michigan voters. Around 400,000 are still needed — every signature counts. Circulate or sign the petition.

Birmingham-Bloomfield Dems Club: Ballot Initiative Presentations

Thursday, June 21st (6:30pm socializing, 7:00pm Forum start)

Representatives from four ballot Initiatives will be presenting (Reproductive Rights, Promote the Vote, One Fair Wage, Prison Sentence Reform) and Amanda Shelton, judicial candidate for Oakland County 6th Circuit Court, along with Judge Sima Patel, candidate for MI Court of Appeals. Located at Bloomfield Township Hall (4200 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302).

Padma Kuppa for State Senate: Campaign Office Opening & Postcard Party Kickoff

Friday, June 24th (5:00pm)

Birmingham-Bloomfield Dems Club: Youth Issues Forum

Tuesday, June 28th (6:30pm socializing, 7:30pm Forum start) Attention voters in Southfield Township! The Birmingham-Bloomfield Dems Club is hosting a Youth Issues Forum for candidates in Congressional District 12: Rashida Talib, Kelly Garrett, Janice Winfrey and Shannelle Jackson.
