Take Some Time: Recharge

My sole purpose in adding this one-more-email-from-a-Democrat to your inbox is to share historian Stephen Bechloss’s essay “Burning Down the House.”

I recently took some time to recharge with a change of scenery and activities. I hope you all will do the same. We have much work to do in the coming months and we’ll do it best if we attend to self-care.

One thing I learned this week is that polling shows that Arizona Democrats are more enthused about this year’s election than people anywhere else in the country. Maybe it is because 2020 proved to us that we can turn our state blue. Maybe it’s because we live in such a beautiful place that we can recharge on a daily basis by just walking outside.

Enjoy this three-day weekend. Then watch for calls to action from now through November!
