Okay! We Get It!

Okay. We get it.
There is too much to do. So here’s what we suggest. Pick from one of two (yes only two) actions to spend one hour on over the next 7 days (that’s when you’ll get another Action Alert and more actions!).

Action #1 Freedom to Vote Act The time is now to put pressure on passing voting rights.  The Senate introduced Manchin’s Compromise Bill — the Freedom to Vote Act. Marc Elias and Stacy Abrams have endorsed it. Now we need to do our part. The Senate has just introduced the Freedom to Vote Act, which is a strong revision of the For the People Act–this is HUGE news! You and people around the country have done incredible work over the last few months. Across the country, people have pushed their Senators to understand why this is essential and gotten us here. It’s critical that we continue calling Senator Leahy to demand he speaks out in support of this legislation.

  1. Call Senator Leahy:(202) 224-4242
  2. Send email messages to friends and family
  3. Post on your social media that people need to call their senators
  4. Go to the Lean Left website for actions you can take

Action #2 Help Recruit Poll Observers in VirginiaPoll observers are “the eyes on the ground” during Early Voting, which starts today!, and on Election Day November 2, 2021. Sign up for a guided phone bank, and you’ll receive all the training and support you need.
