Let’s Talk Politics with Ray, Mon, Aug 30 at Noon

When: Monday, August 30 at 12:00 pm HST and
every other Monday thru 2022

Please join Ray Markey, one of our active members, and the rest of us concerned citizens at Indivisible Hawaii. Join us to talk politics. It’s all about saving our Democracy and the soul of America. We want to hear what you have to say!

The topic for this Monday: “Can Ed Case be a leader in helping to pass Biden’s Infrastructure and American Families Plan?”

Thanks to all who showed up at the protest outside of Rep Case’s office and who called his office. We helped get Case and his Sabotage Squad to back off holding up the resolution bill – the first step in getting the reconciliation bill passed.

Here’s some background information regarding the budget reconciliation bill. You may want to review this prior to our meeting on Monday.

  • Click here to see our member, Maya Maxym, interview with KITV during the protest against Rep Ed Case. Great work Maya!
  • Indivisible Hawaii members protesting in front of Rep Case’s Honolulu office.
  • Click here to access an easy to read report: “Budget Reconciliation – The Basics”. It includes what is “reconciliation” and how does it differ from regular bills?
  • Click here to view powerful messaging from Progressives re the budget resolution bill. Though recently passed, take a look at the messaging. We’ll need to spread it as the reconciliation bill details are finalized and the bill progresses.

If you’ve never registered for our meetings with Ray:

Important note for all previously registered participants:
We’ve extended the end date of our sessions to continue thru 2022 (meant to just do it thru 2021, but we’ll probably still all be busy thru 2022, so I left  it.). If your calendar is no longer showing meetings, you can re-register at
