Tomorrow! Community Conversations: Voter Access

Hundreds of bills that will make it harder to vote are making their way through state legislatures around the country right now, including here in Florida. And this is happening even though Florida just saw one of its most successful elections in recent history.

So what do these bills mean for us as voters? If they pass, how will they impact our choices and access when it comes to voting? And how can we make our voices heard on this issue?
Join us for a community conversation online on April 13, 2021 from 6:30-7:30 PM for “The Freedom to Vote: Voter Rights, Choices and Access,” a panel discussion moderated by Stephanie Owens, Women Talk Black and panelists Pinellas County Supervisor Julie Marcus and League of Women Voters of Florida President Patti Brigham where we’ll discuss these questions and more.

Our Panelists

Moderator Stephanie A. Owens

Stephanie is the principal of Dolphin Strategies in St. Petersburg, where she creates public education and participation strategies that deliver impactful citizen engagement. She has built programs for the American Cancer Society and the National Football League.

Panelist Patricia Brigham
