Whether it’s the Chinese New Year, the Spring Festival, Tet Nguye Dan, or Seollal, the beginning of the lunar calendar is celebrated by millions of people in countries all over the world including China, Korea, Japan, Mongolia, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, and of course, the United States of America. Washtenaw County has one of the highest Asian populations in the state per capita, and Asian Americans make up the fastest-growing voting block in the US. In the Year of the Ox, Washtenaw Dems won’t be cowed by the xenophobia of that other party because we know that diversity is worth celebrating. Take the bull by the horns and get involved with one of these MI-based organizations:

The GOP-controlled MI House passed a completely inadequate supplemental budget plan that does not provide anywhere near the same funding as the Governor’s plan. They left millions if not billions of ‘spend it or lose it’ federally-granted dollars on the table. They also added ridiculous strings to the money, prohibiting the release of all or part of lifesaving FEDERAL COVID dollars.
