Card From the USPS – Update

You may have received this card in the mail from the US Postal Service.

This is an official information card published by the USPS.
However, some of the information may be vague or confusing.

To clarify:

*Arizona does not have an Absentee Ballot.

Arizona has an Early Ballot by Mail or Permanent Early Voter List (PEVL)

*All Yavapai County Early Ballots will include a postage-paid return envelope.

Do not put a stamp on your ballot envelope. This will only complicate the ballot process at the post office.

We recommend you mail your ballot no later than October 16.

The Yavapai County Democratic Party recommends that you vote your early ballot promptly and mail or drop your voted ballot in an Official Ballot Drop Box on or before October 16.

The Yavapai County Democratic Party recommends that you vote your early ballot promptly and mail or drop your voted ballot in an Official Ballot Drop Box on or before October 16.

No signature is the leading cause of ballots being rejected.

Follow the steps illustrated in the photo below and be sure to recheck all steps before you seal the envelope and mail.

If for any reason you make a mistake, do not cross out your choice and mail anyway!

Bring your ballot and ID to the Yavapai County Recorder’s Office (1015 Fair St. #228) and request a new ballot.

Your old ballot will be marked spoiled and you will be issued a new one that you can vote right there and put in the official ballot box. DONE!
