Our Weekend of Action was a roaring success. About 1,000 volunteers texted purged voters in nine battleground states. Our goal was to send 200,000 texts. We sent almost 400,000. The normal response rate is 5-10%. Our response rate was almost 17%. And in the one week since Voterizer launched, we registered 638 Democratic voters! The COVID Curse on voter registration is broken! Our numbers will continue to go up every day until the election – we’re proud to announce the next 8 Weekends of Action! – and we now have a revolutionary new idea that could make these numbers explode. Here’s the problem. Texting is super fun, deadly effective… and expensive. That’s why in the past few years, volunteer demand for texting has *far* outstripped supply. We now have the solution: the Text Arcade. At the Text Arcade, you can buy a virtual Token for ten dollars, which unlocks 500 eligible voters you can then text! You choose the specifics, so you might text Purged Voters from Iowa one time and Public College Students from Michigan the next. And if you want 500 more contacts, it’s just another ten dollars. Texting parties are also available! To be clear, we will still offer every single free text bank we can afford to. But that will only get us about halfway through our lists of purged voters and public college students. This Text Arcade could take us the rest of the way. And we offer it for as little as possible, because the goal is to register every single Democrat we can!
