Washtenaw County Democratic Unity Lunch
August 9, 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Now that the dust has settled on the Democratic primary, it is time for Washtenaw Democrats to pull together in a show of unity and determination. Join the WCDP and Congresswoman Debbie Dingell as we host a Unity Lunch on Sunday, August 9th from noon until 2 p.m. The event will be held at the large pavilion at Island Park on Island Drive in Ann Arbor. Please bring your own chair if you have one. This will be an in-person event with multiple speakers and a boxed lunch generously provided by Congresswoman Dingell. Space is limited to 100 participants and masks and physical distancing will be strictly enforced.

Justice on the Ballot
August 10, 6:30 – 8 p.m.
The Michigan Democratic Party and the Ohio Democratic Party present JUSTICE ON THE BALLOT, a fundraising reception to support the effort to flip the Michigan and Ohio Supreme Courts. WCDP Endorsement Meeting
August 11, 6:30 p.m.
The Washtenaw County Democratic Party will be holding an Endorsement Meeting via Zoom to choose the candidates that we will endorse for the November 2020 General Election. To participate in this meeting, you must pre-register and have your membership verified prior to the meeting since voting will take place. Find out more here.
WCDP Summer County Convention
For the 7th Congressional District
August 15, 10:00 a.m.
The Washtenaw County Democratic Party (WCDP) will be holding the 2020 Summer County Convention for 7th Congressional District members via Zoom. The purpose of this Convention is to elect members to serve on various committees at the Michigan Democratic Party State Convention and to consider resolutions and platform suggestions to be forwarded to the State Party. Because voting will be involved, you must be pre-registered and have your membership verified to participate in this meeting. More details here.

In place of our annual Pancake Breakfast with Congresswoman Dingell, the eminent pancake flipper, we hope you please consider making a check donation made out to College Democrats at UM as we gear up for a jam-packed Fall semester of community activism. Every bit helps, and your donation will go towards providing food for the dozens of phone-banks we will host, money for flyering, and buying masks and hand sanitizer so that we can keep our students safe.
