Lauren Baer is a Democratic Strategist who is also a former State Department Official, and spent six years in the Obama administration, working as a senior adviser to secretaries of state Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, and to U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power. Lauren Baer also ran for congress in Florida’s 18th District, in 2018. Her campaign gained national media because she won more votes in the district than any other Democrat in the midterm elections.
