March Sunday 6/21 For Our Fathers, For Our Sons, For Our Brothers

This Sunday on Father’s Day, organized and led by Parents of African American Children in Davis, we will march For Our Fathers, For Our Sons, For Our Brothers. Details below.

Hi Indivisibles,

All over Yolo County, communities have been showing up for Black lives, protesting police brutality, and organizing for change, and these efforts are not slowing.

This Sunday on Father’s Day, organized and led by Parents of African American Children in Davis, we will march For Our Fathers, For Our Sons, For Our Brothers. Details below. We welcome you to join us in this family friendly march.

In solidarity,
The Indivisible Yolo team

WHEN: Fathers’ Day, Sunday June 21 at 9 am

WHERE: Playfields Park, 2550 Research Park Drive, Davis

HOSTED BY: Members of the PAACD group (Parents of African American Children in Davis).

**** IMPORTANT! For the health, safety, and protection of our African American families, please:

This is a family-friendly walk from Playfields Park to John Bavaretto Park (about 2.6 miles) from 9am to 11am on Fathers’ Day, June 21 2020.

At 11am, at John Bavaretto Park, we will stand in silence for 8.46 minutes as we remember George and all the victims of police brutality. (We understand if your kids cannot stand silently for that long. We want them there, we want their participation. If you have young children, you can meet at the South Davis overpass instead for a moment of silence with them.)
