Demand a People’s Bailout!

Hello Indivisibles,

For this week’s action, we’re focusing on the ongoing negotiations for the next coronavirus relief bill. While Republicans are focused on getting corporate bailout money with no accountability, we’re following Indivisible national’s lead to ask for a People’s Bailout that puts people over profits instead.

The People’s Bailout includes 5 main points:

1. Protect our democratic processes while protecting each other.
2. Make health the top priority, for all people, with no exceptions.
3. Provide economic relief directly to the people.
4. Rescue workers and communities, not corporate executives.
5. Make a down payment on a regenerative economy, while preventing future crises.

Specifically, I’m asking that the next bill should:
