We organized the data into four groups for simplicity: arms merchants, politicians, veteran groups and reformers working to fix the system. Resources we used include:
- Inequality.org and Popular Information to see how firms and execs profit and their donations.
- VoteVets and Snopes to understand cuts in veterans’ benefits
- Esri to map the major communities where veterans live
- The Washington Post, Phoenix New Times, Clyde Fitch Report and Business Insider
