Elena Christopoulos is a Commissioner with the city of Santa Monica, a climate scientist and she’s managed over 40 successful political campaigns.
In early 2000, Elena implemented the first urban wind turbine in North America which took more than 250 homes of the power grid.
Her goal is to get more women into politics and as she mentions on the show, she’s hiring women now! Elena tells the story of when she kicked Donald Trump in the groin — you know you want to hear THAT story!
She’s also a rape survivor and she explained that sharing her story publicly helped her heal. The Equal Rights Amendment is also part of the discussion.
