Songs For Doug Ervin & Felicia French

May 31 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

What’s so funny about peace, love and understanding? I will tell, you it’s time to listen to some music. Get ready for equal parts wisdom & willful ignorance plus a dash of inane banter…And we’ll definitely be chatting about how to make this place just a tad better.

We will post a link at the time of the show.

This show is to support both Doug Ervin (Legislative District 20) and Felicia French (Legislative District 6) ’s campaigns who are both running for the Arizona state Senate. We will encourage new folks to get active in local elections. If you have a friend who complains about politics, here’s a chance to get them involved. We will listen to some music, hear from Doug and Felicia and discuss definitive actions we can take.

You will have an opportunity to hear directly from a candidate who listens to voters.

HANS OLSON is a veteran performing musician with over 50 years in the music business. He began his career as a lead singer in a Rock & Roll band in Southern California in 1967. By 1970, Hans had developed a very unique and powerful solo act. He plays an amplified acoustic guitar and harmonica. Hans is known as one of the best “harp-in-a-rack” players in the world. In 1996, Olson was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame. Both Phoenix Magazine and Phoenix New Times named Olson as one of the most influential musicians in Arizona.

Pete Kronowitt combines performing, touring and activism. If Steve Earle and Elvis Costello got pissed enough to write political tunes, they would sound like Pete Kronowitt songs. Four albums combining performing, touring and activism, Pete’s songs lie at the juncture where culture clash with politics. Pete founded Face the Music Collective, a guide for creative activists utilizing performances to inspire targeted individual action, one event at a time.

We’ll help you get involved. But you don’t need to wait. If you have time, volunteer. There is a great grassroots organization focused on winning state house elections, Sister District Project. Join Sister District…today.
