Rural Democrats Get the Work Done

Friends,

Every year, Democrats across Missouri come together to celebrate successes and lift up members of our community at our annual Truman Dinner. The MDP Rural Caucus’s Mel Carnahan Rural Democrat of the Year Award is a truly special honor, celebrating exceptional Democrats who are putting in the hard work to move the needle in outstate Missouri, build critical organizing infrastructure, and push our party forward.

This Saturday, the MDP Rural Caucus presented this year’s Mel Carnahan Award to a truly worthy rural Democrat – none other than Daniel Tracy!

Dan’s hard work in connecting rural candidates with great people and the resources they need to run has been instrumental in their success, this year more than ever. In 2024, more Democrats are running to contest seats across our state than have in a decade. Those incredible candidates (like Dan’s own wife, Jen Tracy!) can move mountains – but no candidate can flip a seat alone. It’s because of champions like Dan putting in the long hours and late nights that we’re going to shift red districts to purple, flip seats blue, and shatter the supermajority in our state legislature.

Make no mistake – Rural Democrats like Dan get the work done – and they’d love to have you as part of the team!

If you’re a Democrat looking for community in outstate Missouri, head to the link here or click the button below to find out more about the MDP Rural Caucus. Their members will be more than eager to connect you with Democratic campaigns and resources in your area, and to help you make a difference in any and every district in our state!

Congratulations again, Dan, and thank you and your fellow Rural Democrats for all you do.

Russ
