Recommended 2024 Charleston County School Board Candidates:
We are excited to announce the Charleston County Democratic Party’s 2024 recommended candidates for Charleston County School Board!
District 2 (East Cooper): Carolina Jewett
District 4 (North Charleston & Downtown Charleston): Craig Logan
District 6 (West Ashley): Daron Lee Calhoun
District 8 (Sea Islands & St. Paul’s): Darlene Dunmeyer-Roberson
These candidates will prioritize quality education for our children and stay focused on improving our public schools. They offer a stark contrast from the censorship, chaos, and division created by the board’s current ultra-conservative Moms For Liberty Censorship majority.
We look forward to adding them to our list of winning candidates this fall who will deliver progress for the Lowcountry!
School Board, while technically non-partisan is obviously a critical office to add to our efforts and elect leaders who share our values. However, that means our task just got BIGGER.
We now have 33 critical local elections to win this fall. Can you help us turn out the vote by phone banking, door knocking, or funding our GOTV Efforts? We can’t win without your help!
