A New Chapter in Our Presidential Race
I hope this message finds you well and energized as we embark on a crucial phase of our journey together. As you are aware, the landscape of the upcoming presidential election has shifted, with Vice President Kamala Harris now leading our ticket. This moment presents us with both challenges and opportunities, and I am confident that, together, we will rise to the occasion.
Kamala Harris has shown unwavering dedication to the principles we hold dear—justice, equality, and progress for all Americans. Her experience, resilience, and vision make her a formidable candidate, and I am excited about the possibilities her leadership brings to our campaign.
As we move forward, it’s essential that we come together as a united front. Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
1. **Unified Effort**: Our strength lies in our unity. Let’s support each other and work collaboratively to ensure that every voice in Oakland County is heard and every vote is counted.
2. **Community Engagement**: Now more than ever, we need to engage with our community. Reach out to your neighbors, friends, and family members. Encourage them to get involved, whether by volunteering, attending events, or simply staying informed about the issues that matter most.
3. **Poll Worker Recruitment**: Election administrators are raising concerns that there won’t be enough poll workers to ensure every polling place is properly staffed and open to voters in November. We need your help to prevent that from happening! August 1st is Poll Worker Recruitment Day—a national day of action to recruit poll workers to ensure our elections run smoothly. All On The Line is partnering with Power the Polls to mobilize our members to sign up as poll workers. [Join us for this special event](https://www.mobilize.
4. **Positive Messaging**: Let’s maintain a positive and inclusive message throughout our campaign. Highlighting Kamala Harris’s achievements and vision for the future will resonate with voters and inspire hope and confidence.
5. **Volunteer Opportunities**: We have numerous volunteer opportunities available. Whether you can offer a few hours or more, your contribution will make a significant impact. Please reach out to our volunteer coordinator to find out how you can help.
6. **Stay Informed**: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the campaign. Attend our meetings, follow our social media channels, and participate in our discussion forums. Informed members are our greatest asset.
Additionally, please ensure you are registered to vote in Oakland County’s upcoming August primary. For more information and to register, please visit our [voter registration page](https://www.ocdp.org/
