It’s Primary Day
Today is the Democratic primary and polls are open from 6AM-9PM. If you are in line when the polls close, you can stay in line and cast your vote. Your vote is your voice!

- County Executive George Latimer (NY16)
- Susan Cacace (DA)
- Adeel Mirza – Suspended his campaign but is on the ballot (DA)
- William Wagstaff (DA)

Know Your Voting Rights
Please join the NYDLC (IW is a proud co-sponsor) for their inaugural Voter Education Town Hall this Saturday! These statewide town halls will be held throughout the summer, with the first one in Peekskill.
The Peekskill Town Hall will be a public forum featuring voting rights expert presenters who will discuss various voter reforms and information attendees will need to create a voting plan for upcoming elections. Attendees will be able to ask any questions regarding voting and navigating the high stakes general election in November.
