Meet your 2024 Charleston County Democratic Candidates!
With yesterday’s candidate filing deadline behind us, we are excited to share the 2024 Democratic slate in Charleston County!
This ticket includes a combat veteran, several teachers, law enforcement officers, a JFK Profile in Courage award winner, multiple pastors, small business owners, and some moms and grandmothers who are coming after the Republican male legislators who took away the reproductive freedom of women in South Carolina.
Stay tuned to this mailing list and our website for more opportunities to meet these candidates over the coming months. Many will be speaking at our April monthly meeting so please go ahead and RSVP to join us there!
House District 109 Special Election: TODAY, Tuesday April 2nd
If you live in State House District 109, don’t forget to VOTE TODAY! Polls will be open from 7am-7pm and you can vote at your regular polling location.
This is the Special Election to fill the vacancy created in House District 109 after now-Senator Deon Tedder was elected to the State Senate last fall. It is critical that we turn out for our nominee, Tiffany Spann Wilder, to keep this seat represented by a leading voice for progress in our state!
Become a Delegate to the Democratic National Convention
South Carolina is entitled to 65 delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this summer. You can be one of them!
Check out the SC Democratic Party’s guide on who is eligible and how to become a delegate then fill out a filing form!
Please note that you cannot have voted in the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary, you must have attended our County Democratic Convention last month, and you need to attend our State Democratic Convention in Columbia on May 18.
We hope to see you in Columbia on May 18 then Chicago August 19-22!
