Join us for an update on the legal status of reproductive freedom nationally and in PA with Kathryn Kolbert, a public-interest attorney, journalist, and entrepreneurial leader who has been recognized by The National Law Journal as one of the “100 Most Influential Lawyers in America.”
In 1992, Kolbert made her second appearance before the U.S. Supreme Court, arguing Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the case widely credited with protecting abortion rights until the passage of Dodds. Kolbert is the co-author of: Controlling Women: What We Must Do NOW to Save Reproductive Freedom, the Definitive Account of the Battle for Reproductive Freedom and a Bold New Strategy to Safeguard our Rights.
Also joining us will be Dr. Karen Feisullin, MD an obstetrics & gynecology specialist in Montgomery County PA and healthcare activist who works with Docs4Dems. Dr. Feisullin will be talking about the devastating effect this restrictive legislation has on patients.
