How Project 2025 Will Ruin Your Life – Andra Watkins

Vote to STOP PROJECT 2025
“I think a lot of people are unenthused about Democrats right now. I think we see in the mainstream media that a lot of people are unexcited about are certain nominee for president. There’s a lot of progressive causes that people want to make protest votes over.
And I understand that progressives are fighting for people who need to be fought for, but if we don’t win in November, if we don’t capture the presidency and Congress in November as Democrats, the climate is going to burn and Gaza is going to be rubble and they’re not going to do anything to stop it because Christian nationalists believe Israel is ordained by God and they are going to fight to protect that piece of land as Israel given their last day’s beliefs about the end of the world, and they vote on those things.
They believe them wholeheartedly. Women are going to be reduced to property of men, and that’s already happening in red states, but they are so much further they can go, and I’m writing a post on Friday about what I think their plans are for contraception and access to contraception, all contraception so that black and brown peoples are going to have even worse lives than a lot of us.” – Andra Watkins in the podcast

Andra Watkins
Andra Watkins is an acclaimed speaker and New York Times best-selling author Andra Watkins lives in Charleston, South Carolina.
“Andra is an unwilling expert on far-right Christian Nationalism. She grew up in a Moral Majority church and school in the 1970s and 80s. She explains how she wasn’t taught about the female body, other than to hear my body was a lust-magnet for men. Her Christian school left sex education up to parents, which left her ignorant about everything…” – Salon
“I’m Childless Because of a Far-Right South Carolina Church.
Recently, Judge James Ho, a Trump-appointed judge on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, spoke for many on the religious far-right when he said: “Pregnancy is not a serious illness.” I view his argument with irony. I grew up within the South Carolina Moral Majority-led anti-abortion movement. I have always treated pregnancy as a disease to be avoided at all costs. I am childless because of the anti-abortion movement.” – Newsweek
