CALLS TO ACTION
Dear Friends,
Hooray for the final week of regular session! There are many who can take a break after Saturday. Please make these last few calls to action and share with those in Virginia. Let’s continue to build our power and community. We are going to need it.
There may be calls to action urging Youngkin to sign our bills, so stay tuned. There are two examples at the end of our short list today.
Let’s do it!
Stair
EDUCATION

- HB 625Office of Community Schools – Please urge Virginia State Senators to vote to establish the Office of Community Schools
GUN VIOLENCE PROTECTION
Let’s get our Gun Violence Protection Legislation signed by the Governor! The Virginia General Assembly has passed several sensible gun violence bills. These include limits on assault guns and ammunition, prohibitions on gun transfers and increased gun storage rules – to name a few. Please call 804-786-2211 and press one to leave a message, and/or email by filling out the Governor’s contact form.
WORKERS AND FAMILIES Please tell Governor Youngkin not to veto good affordability bills that passed this year! Including: paid family and medical leave, prescription medication affordability, banning hidden fees, and the minimum wage increase! Freedom Virginia has made a portal for writing four letters to the Governor and four tweets. Please take time to do this.
