PETITION: Defend freedom, pass the Women’s Health Protection Act!

REJECT misogyny! Join Turn PA Blue and add your name to support the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA)!

The Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson that wiped out millions of women’s access to basic health care and handed over their medical decisions to politicians and judges, has had an immediate and catastrophic impact on gender equality in America.

Abortion care is now inaccessible in at least 14 states, affecting more than a fifth of the American public, and Republican extremists are pushing for a national abortion ban, enacting laws that punish doctors and women seeking abortion care, and paying bounties to people who turn them in!

Democrats have introduced the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) which would create a federal right to access abortion care.

Turn PA Blue fought hard to elect a Democratic majority to our state Supreme Court – and they just declared the Dobbs decision was unconstitutional and based on an “antiquated and misogynistic notion that a woman has no say over what happens to her own body.”

When the United States Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, they relegated women to a lesser place in the constitutional order using centuries-long oppression as a justification.

As a result, pregnant people across the country are suffering and dying!

The WHPA would restore, protect, and expand abortion care in America, moving us toward a nation of true equality.

We fight to turn PA BLUE and defend gender equality as well as the rights of all Pennsylvanians and Americans.

Sign on to urge Congress to swiftly pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and defend the rights and lives of pregnant Americans.

Abortion care is a fundamental right!
