VOTE TOMORROW!
Tomorrow is the Big Day for South Carolina Democrats! Our First in the Nation Democratic Presidential Primary is tomorrow, Saturday February 3.
It is critically important for South Carolina Democrats to show up and vote so we can maintain this exciting honor for election cycles to come, and to launch the Biden-Harris ticket back to the White House with a big momentum boost from the Palmetto State!
CCDP Chairman Sam Skardon recently published an op-ed about why voting in this election is critical for SC Democrats – read it here!
Voting will be open from 7am-7pm at your neighborhood polling location. Due to a shortage of poll workers and an unusual election day (Saturday), many polling locations have been consolidated or changed for tomorrow. Please check to confirm if yours is one of the affected sites.
If you encounter any issues when attempting to vote, please call our voter protection hotline: 833-336-8683.
Help Build our Party on Feb 3
The First in the Nation Presidential Primary isn’t just about voting, it’s a critical opportunity to build our party! We still need Volunteers to talk with other Democrats to make sure they vote and deepen their involvement with our local party in future elections. Sign up to volunteer tomorrow!
After the polls close, we’ll celebrate this historic day for South Carolina Democrats, and reward your hard work with a results watch party* at Nippitaty Distilling in North Charleston (4405 Spruill Ave) from 6-8pm.
*This event is free for Friends of Fritz and anyone who volunteers on Feb 3. If you can’t volunteer and you’re not a Friend of Fritz yet, become one today or at the door tomorrow evening!
Congratulations to Tiffany Spann-Wilder!
We also had a State House Election this week. The Democratic Primary in the Special Election for House District 109 was this past Tuesday and Tiffany Spann-Wilder is now officially our Democratic nominee!
This election isn’t over yet – there is a special general election on April 2nd, but no other candidates have filed so we anticipate Mrs. Spann-Wilder will become the newest Democratic member of Charleston County’s State Legislative Delegation. Congratulations and we are excited to have her voice working for us in Columbia!
