Charleston Runoff: Vote TODAY for Tecklenburg & Tinkler!

Volunteer

TODAY is Election Day in the City of Charleston!

Vote TODAY, Tues. Nov. 21, in the runoff elections for Charleston’s Mayor and City Council District 9.  Here’s what local Democrats need to know:

Who do I vote for?

Although these are non-partisan elections, the Charleston County Democratic Party has officially recommended John Tecklenburg for Mayor and William Tinkler for Council District 9.

Both Tecklenburg and Tinkler are unifying and inclusive leaders with a common-sense and main-stream approach to leading our city.

Unfortunately, both of their opponents are supported by the extremist conservative group “Moms for Liberty,” and the opposition candidate for Mayor was recently a Republican member of the State Legislature.

When do I vote?

Election Day is Today, Tuesday Nov. 21 and polls will be open until 7pm.  Vote at your regular polling location (confirm it here).

Who can vote?

Every City of Charleston voter who was registered by October 8th of this year, whether or not you voted two weeks ago, can vote for Mayor!

If you are in City Council District 9 (parts of West Ashley – map here), you will also be able to vote for City Council.

How do I find more information about voting?

On www.SCvotes.org you can confirm your registration, polling location, view your sample ballot, and much more! Reach out to hello@charlestondemocrats.com and we’ll direct you to more resources!

Confirm your polling location and go vote TODAY!
