Josh Hawley isn’t just an embarrassment; he’s dangerously un-American. That is why I am so thankful for those of you that stepped up and chipped in before our mid-month deadline hit.

In his attempt to defend Donald Trump for endangering our national security, Josh attacked the entire American justice system in one of the most pathetic, whiny, and un-Democratic arguments I’ve ever seen an ivy-league educated lawyer make.

Here’s the bottom line: in this country, nobody is above the law. We’re not a dictatorship where one man and his groveling flunkies (like Josh Hawley) get to break the rules and avoid accountability.

I may be the chair of the Democratic Party, but this isn’t a partisan issue.

Frankly, I can’t believe we are at a place where our Senator is echoing lies, attacking the justice system, and proudly participating in the January 6th insurrection (at least when he wasn’t running away.)
