Last week, Republicans in Congress proposed a national abortion ban. If they take back the House and Senate, they will move to outlaw abortion nationally and push the rest of their extremist agenda through Congress. It’s all hands on deck time!
The NY State Democratic Party is hosting phone banks and canvassing opportunities – texting coming soon – for candidates up and down the ballot this November. Governor Hochul is facing a tough race and there are SIX competitive NY House races where Democrats are facing MAGA Republicans, including NY-17, which encompasses parts of Westchester roughly north of 287.

Beasley for Senate
Democrats must also fight to keep the Senate blue. Cheri Beasley of North Carolina is coming to Westchester on Thursday, September 22nd. Cheri’s race is among the five closest according to 538 – and recent polls show that she can possibly flip this seat. Her victory would be a Senate pick up for Democrats!
