I know you are all well-aware of the precarious situation we are in right now with the proposed redistricting maps. The proposed maps, if passed, are poised to benefit Republicans for years to come. Every effort we make right now and for the next few weeks needs to be focused on ensuring that we get fair, sensible maps that take into account the Voting Rights Act and don’t marginalize or break up communities that belong together.
We need YOU. Right now. We need you to sign up for phone banking and testifying. We all need to phone bank to ensure that our fellow Dems show up. I know many of you fought for the passage of Proposal 2. If we sit on the sidelines, all of the effort that went into passing Proposal 2, will not be materialized in the actual outcomes that we, and the overwhelmingly majority of Michiganders, sought with its passage.
Please join us in this effort to mobilize Democrats to show up. We can’t do this without you.
